HOUSE RULES

01 — WHAT THIS IS

CageStank is an MMA analysis site. A model produces probabilities, we compare them to sportsbook prices, and we publish the result with a cryptographic timestamp. That's the whole product.

IT IS INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT. IT IS NOT BETTING ADVICE, FINANCIAL ADVICE, OR A TIP SERVICE. WE DO NOT ACCEPT WAGERS, HOLD FUNDS, OR PLACE BETS FOR ANYONE.

Everything here is an opinion about likelihood. A 70% favourite loses three times in ten. When that happens, nothing has malfunctioned. If you bet, you are the one betting, and the outcome is yours.

02 — WHO CAN USE IT

You must be 21 or older and in a place where accessing this kind of content is legal. Gambling laws vary by country, state and province; working that out for where you are sitting is your job, not ours.

03 — YOUR ACCOUNT

• One account, one person. Don't share credentials or resell access.
• Anything done through your account is treated as done by you — pick a real password.
• Creating an account means confirming you meet the age line above. That confirmation is recorded once, with its date.
• Keep a working email on the account if you ever want a password reset: it's the only self-serve way back in. No email, no reset; you'd have to reach a human.
• Tell us if you think someone else is in it. We can invalidate every session you have immediately.
• We can suspend or close an account that is scraping us, reselling us, or making the site worse for other people. We'll say why.
• You can have your account deleted whenever you want. See WHAT WE KEEP.

04 — WHAT YOU CAN'T DO WITH IT

Read the site, use it to think, argue with it, screenshot it, quote it with a link. What you can't do is take the whole thing:

• No automated scraping, bulk downloading, or hammering the endpoints.
• No republishing our picks, analysis or data as a product of your own.
• No reselling access, and no passing our output off as yours.
• No attacking the site, the accounts, or the infrastructure.

The underlying facts — fight results, official statistics, odds — are the sport's, not ours. The models, research, writing, design and the specific way it's all assembled are ours.

05 — WHAT WE DON'T PROMISE

The site is provided as it is. We think it's good and we work hard on it; that is not the same as a guarantee. Specifically, we don't promise that:

• any prediction will be correct: most of the value is in being calibrated, not right;
• the data is complete or current: it goes stale, it goes missing, cards change late;
• prices shown match what your book is offering by the time you look;
• the site will be up, especially on fight night when it matters most.

TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR BETTING LOSSES, MISSED BETS, OR ANY OTHER LOSS ARISING FROM USING THIS SITE. YOU USE YOUR OWN JUDGEMENT AND YOUR OWN MONEY.

06 — WHO WE AREN'T

CageStank is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the UFC, Zuffa, any other promotion, any athletic commission, or any sportsbook. Names, events and marks belong to their owners and are used to describe the sport.

We are not a sportsbook and we don't take a cut of your action. If that ever changes, for instance if the site carries a sportsbook referral, it will be disclosed on the page where it appears, and it will never decide what we recommend.

07 — CHANGES, AND ENDINGS

These rules can change. When something material changes, the date at the top moves and we say what changed rather than quietly swapping the text. Continuing to use the site after that means you're fine with it.

Either side can walk away. You can stop using the site or have your account deleted at any time; we can end access if these rules are broken.
